Workshops on hymn playing, improvisation, and basso continuo.

The program includes masterclasses (organ and clavichord), individual practice, rehearsals on the historic instruments, and more.

PARTICIPATION

The academy is limited to 10 participants, with priority given to active participants. The event is tailored for organ students and professional organists as an inspirational and educational experience. Unfortunately, not all applications may be accepted.

FEE

3,000 SEK (included for participants of the Schnitger Academy & The Petit Tour).

FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION

Participants are responsible for arranging their own meals and accommodation. Free overnight accommodation on mattress pads is available at Gammalkil Parish House.

ACADEMY PROGRAM

Daily workshops on participant-chosen repertoire at the Schiörlin organ in Gammalkil Church (1806).
Excursions to the Schiörlin organs in Vikingstad (1785) and Rappestad (1815).
Scheduled practice time on the organ in Gammalkil Church and related keyboard instruments in the Parish House.
Participants’ concert at Gammalkil Church.
